This handsome TV console is designed to hold flat-panel TVs up to 65 inches wide. Through the use of rustic design influences such as a six-step antique cherry finish, seeded glass doors, hand-applied distressing, and antique bronze-finished hardware, the Vallarta collection celebrates the heart, emotion, and soul of Latin America. The console features one adjustable shelf behind each seeded glass door. A convection ventilation system in the unfinished back panel helps air flow through and keep components cool. Two media storage drawers with adjustable dividers add to the utility. Drawers are made with Superior Drawer Construction. Full-suspension ball-bearing glides have commercial quality, quiet operation, and support heavy loads up to 50 pounds. Precision channel joint construction provides strong connection between drawer side and face. An open bottom shelf can be used for storage or display space. The console arrives fully assembled and carries a 10-year warranty. It measures 60 inches wide by 32 inches high by 20 inches deep.

I ordered it on May 22nd, 2009 and it arrived in Dallas on June 2nd with free super saver shipping. Martin did a great job of packing the unit so that it would not get damaged. The unit is actually a lot darker than I thought it would be by looking at the stock photo. The doors on it are solid hard wood. The middle drawers have a hard wood door with pressed wood side walls and bottom. The back is veneer and the shelves inside the doors look like they're some sort of particle board or something like that with veneer. I really love the fact that I didn't have to put this thing together. The only thing you have to do is screw on the handles and put the shelving in where you want it. The middle drawers will hold between 115 and 120 DVDs in regular sized clamshells. They can be configured for three rows of CDs or two rows of DVDs in each drawer. I doubt they'll hold two rows of Disney video tapes but I don't have any so I can't check. The only thing I'd change is it would have been nice if they would have included a couple of more shelves to put in each side to give the users a little more flexibility but that's not really a big deal. We were very please with the quality of the unit. The only thing we had to do was cut a larger hole the back for running wires and for better ventilation. We were concerned not knowing what the size of the open center shelf was, since the description did not say, but it was just right for our speaker. It measures 18 in. across and 5 in. tall.
